Everyone can help

Everyone can get involved by placing a feeder somewhere around their ecosystem - near your home; in the garden in front of the block; on the terrace; on the way to work; in front of the office; where you drink coffee in the afternoon; in the park where the children play or you like to walk. Anywhere you've seen or heard birds around you or wish there were. Once they learn to visit a feeder, the birds continue to check it throughout the summer.
There are many types of feeders - wooden, metal nets, plastic with perches, homemade, etc. In my experience, plastic cylindrical feeders with perches are the most convenient for both the birds and me to fill them with. In them, the food is not moistened, unlike wooden feeders. Thus, they can feed from it for several days and it is not necessary to fill it every day. I have concluded from my observations that when the food is moist or wet on the ground, they do not consume it. Even in autumn, when there were walnuts on the ground on rainy days, they were not eaten, but landed on the feeder. There are parks with wooden bird feeders, but in most cases I have seen nest boxes (they are placed quite high and serve to lay and incubate eggs in the spring). If you do spot any, put food straight into them.It is important to place the feeders in places that are difficult for predators to access. Crowding of many birds also attracts predators such as cats and sometimes the bird feeder can become a trap for them. Make sure there are no domestic or stray cats nearby, or place the feeder so that it provides easy access for birds and good visibility for predator threats.

When feeding, use natural foods and avoid processed foods that contain preservatives and various chemical substances. Sunflower, raw nuts can provide adequate nutrition and are rich in fat, making them suitable high-energy foods for the winter period. Mixtures of different types of seeds, unsalted bacon and spreads are also good options, or simply seek advice from specialized literature or from an expert. You can also order from ours Feed for wild birds.

Birds, like people, need water. In winter, water is often scarce because it freezes, and providing liquid water helps greatly. Water is important both for drinking and for maintaining the feathers of birds.

Do not forget!!!

In our desire to help nature, we will hang feeders on the trees. BUT let's remember if we're not going to put any more food in them, to unplug them and put them away for next year. However, we do not want to help one and harm another. Let's not pollute.
